Photoshop Reflection
What I did
The first four tutorial I did taught me how to get rid of unwanted aspects of an image. In the first image I used the rectangular marquee tool to get rid of part of a stool and lamp . It was pretty easy to do and didn't offer much problem for me.
In the second image I had to remove a logo from the surfboard, I used the same tool for this one, as i used for the last one. This one was also pretty simple, all though the place were the logo was could probably use a little touch up because the line isn't completely centered.
In the third image I had to remove the logo from its original location and move it up higher. To do this I first had to copy the layer. Then on one layer I had to remove the logo completely. Then on the second layer I had to move the logo from the original location, to the new one higher up on the surfboard.
In the forth image I had to get rid of a a bunch of little blemishes on the wall behind him. To do that I used the rectangular marquee tool and the lasso tool, This one was pretty easy and didn't take much time to complete.
For this tutorial I had to remove a graphic from the mans shirt. I learned how to use the patch tool. If I could go back and change

For the next three images I had to remove a tag from the ladies jacket, two things in the background of the picture of the father and daughter, and some dirt spots from the boys face. I learned how o use the clone stamp tool and the spot heal tool. I used the clone stamp tool to remove the tag from the girl's jacket and the two things in the background of the father, daughter image. I then used the spot heal tool to fix, the small areas of discoloration. I used this tool on all three images, but I used it the most on the boys face because it's good at getting rid of small blemishes.
This tutorial was the most difficult, in my opinion. I had to take three separate images and combine them to make them a collage. Combining all the images was pretty easy, the tough part was getting the center image to look like it belonged there. I had to add in parts of her arm to make it look more natural, and not like it was a separate image. I also had to remove branches from the right side of the left image and the left side of the right image, to do this I used the clone stamp tool. The biggest thing I struggled with in this collage was getting the area behind her hair to match the colors in the rest of the image.
In this tutorial I had to put a logo on the bottle and then put the bottle on the ocean. To do this, I had to place the logo on the bottle and remove the logos white background, to make it look like the image was really on the bottle. Then I had to give the bottle a glow and shadow. The last thing I had to do was make the bottle look a little transparent.
The last tutorial I did, required I place the ad on the billboard. It wasn't very difficult to do. First I had to place the ad over the billboard, Then I had to move the corners of the ad to the corners of the billboard. Finally I had to use the magic wand tool to select just the billboard and fit the ad to the billboard.
Important Tools
The three most important tools I used were the clone stamp tool, the spot heal tool, and the patch tool. I felt these were the most important tools because I used them the most throughout the tutorials. The clone stamp tool is important because it allows you to cover up unwanted things like tree branches with pieces of the sky around it. The spot heal tool is important because it allows you to be a lot more precise with covering up blemishes, it uses the content around it to make the place you just fixed look a lot more natural. The patch tool is good for taking large areas and making them look like the areas around them.My Thoughts on the Tutorials
Overall I found the tutorials very interesting , I didn't know that much about Photoshop to begin with. So learning what a lot of the tools did was fascinating to me. The coolest skill I learned was how to use the clone stamp tool I have had a little bit of experience with it in the past. That tool could be really useful in the future, for example if I wanted to post a picture of a friend and I at the park, but there was a bird in the shot, I could because I would be able to use the clone stamp tool to get rid of the bird. I would say my strength throughout the tutorials was definitely using the clone stamp tool. I wanted the thing I covered up to look as natural as possible and the clone stamp tool allowed me to do that, using it to make things look natural was really easy for me, because I could see where I had used it and where I needed to use it. Though not everything came as easily, I struggled s lot with managing layers, I would keep forgetting to make new layers and would end up messing up the project and would end up starting over. I would also forget to switch layers and turn off layers, so I would sit there fora minute and be like why isn't this working, only to realize I had the layer off.
Things I liked and didn't like
There are some things I would go back and change on some of these images, they include, fixing the color of the guys shirt in the one where I had to remove the graphic from it and fixing the coloring behind the girls hair. There were some things I liked about the way the edited photos came out and things I wouldn't change if I had to do the tutorials again. For example I wouldn't change anything about the way I did the father, daughter image. I wouldn't change anything about the image with the guy with his camera against the wall, I also liked the images where I used the clone stamp tool and wouldn't change the areas where I used it.
